Sleep through the Static is one of his better CDs. I enjoy the sounds of every song on that CD floating into my ear. It’s so relaxing. Chill music. My favorite.

Did I mention that he is a lyrical genius? Everything he sings is the truth. His music is pretty much amazing for any occasion. You name it, he’s got a song for it.

Still. With this being said. It’s delicious and almost irresistable. Gummi bears rock my world. They are debatably the best candy every. Clear ones are my favorite. They are the perfect combination of soft chewiness and gummi texture. They’re also affordable, which is nice for a broke college student.

Yum.

The only bad thing about gummi bears is that after eating them excessively, say, a whole bag or two, your jaw starts to get sore. I’m pretty sure I almost for lockjaw one time from eating so many.

He’s good. I would consider him a lyrical genius. No doubt about it. Even after listening to his songs for the second, third, fourth times, you still continue to find interesting lines. It’s like everything he says connects and makes sense, in a weird way.

I don’t think I could name my one favorite Lil’ Wayne song. I like them all. I enjoy listening to his words. There are a lot of rappers out there that rap for no reason and you can’t understand them half the time. It’s not like that with Weezy. Weezy is appealing to all types of people. His fans range in variety in ages, races, genders, etc.

Some people don’t like him because of the lifestyle he lives. Sure, he’s done some bad things, but who is perfect? No one has the right to judge.

Surprisingly enough, when I ask this question to people, the response I usually get is, “Well, we just found it online and it looked nice.” This blows my mind. That says a lot for our school’s website I suppose. There are some students here that never visited before they were accepted. Like … seriously? I visited here three times before I committed, and that’s with a basketball scholarship offer.

I think the students that come here just to go to school love it. It’s a great atmosphere, beautiful weather, great location. The classes are small and personal attention is normal. I guess, for someone who is looking for somewhere new and different, Gardner-Webb would be awfully appealing.

Then I asked myself, is it the time or is it the location? Kids are kids though. I mentor at Crest Middle School in Boiling Springs, NC. Luckily, the girl I mentor is not that bad of a kid. Some of the other children there are seriously troubled though.

I do believe in a sense that the media has something to do with the ever changing youth of America. Less and less is censored everday when it comes to television. The internet doesn’t help at all either. Let’s hope that the advancing tecnology can progress our children to the greater good.

Turns out, they sway their news, interviews, and journalism. When it comes to politics, they are nothing but republican. Their number of republican representatives drown the number of liberal representatives. Their anchors are rude and extremely defensive. In watching the doccumentary, I actually got upset.

In conclusion, we ask for news, not opinions. Opinions are what we are supposed to make from watching the news. An opinion is a choice, and the choices of the people working at Fox are wrong.

One of our favorite videos is Old Greg. It’s not only entertaining to watch, but also to recite. I have to watch it atleast once a week to stay sane.

One of the most interesting things that I learned about was the evolution of motion pictures. It is pretty amazing. Old movies intrigue me. Also, I saw clips from “The Jazz Singer” which was the first film to have sound.

I’ve had very few things in my education trigger my imagination, but this has.

When I feel overwhelmed and just need a break from the ol’ “HW”, I take time out for a jam session. This really helps me relax and refocus to get the job done. During these jam sessions, I crank my Bose Companion 3s up and go with the music. Sometimes it’s rap. Sometimes rock. Other times, techno.

On the other hand, when I am in the process of doing homework or studying, I like to have my volume on low and listening to Jack Johnson. His music is so incredibly relaxing. It’s perfect.
